Essential Q-no-U Words:
- QI (11 pts) — The fundamental life force in Chinese philosophy. This is the most important Q-without-U word. Memorize it.
- QOPH (18 pts) — The 19th letter of the Hebrew alphabet.
- QADI (14 pts) — An Islamic judge.
- QANAT (14 pts) — An irrigation tunnel.
- QAT (12 pts) — A plant chewed as a stimulant.
- QAID (14 pts) — A Muslim judge.
- QABALAH (21 pts) — A system of Jewish mysticism.
- QINTAR (15 pts) — An Albanian monetary unit.
- QWERTY (21 pts) — The standard keyboard layout.
- TRANQ (14 pts) — Short for tranquilizer.
How to Use Them QI is playable in virtually any game. Place it parallel to an existing word to score in both directions. QOPH and QADI are great for clearing the Q while scoring well.
